The mechanics
What's happening
Uranus in Gemini
Uranus — the planet of disruption, breakthrough, and sudden change — made its first ingress into Gemini on July 7, 2025, retrograded back into Taurus on November 7, 2025, and re-enters Gemini for the duration on April 25–26, 2026. It then stays in Gemini until 2032–2033.
Uranus was last in Gemini 1941–1949 — radar, the first computers, the splitting of the atom, the seeds of the information age. Where Uranus in Taurus (2018–2025) upended money, food, and the physical economy, Uranus in Gemini upends information itself: how we talk, learn, travel, and decide what's true.
2026 is the hinge year — Uranus finishes its last pass through Taurus in early 2026, then commits to Gemini from late April on.
The tell
What it feels like
- Communication tech lurches forward — new media, new languages, new ways minds connect (and misfire).
- Restlessness in how you think and speak; old certainties about 'the facts' destabilize fast.
- Sudden ideas, plot-twist conversations, the urge to learn something completely new.
- Personally: wherever early Gemini sits in your chart is where your mind, your words, and your local world get a jolt of the unexpected.

How long it lasts
Brace, or build?
Generational: Uranus is effectively in Gemini from April 26, 2026 (after the July–November 2025 preview) through 2032–2033. Uranus moves in sudden jumps and long plateaus, so expect the breakthroughs in bursts rather than a steady ramp.
The move
What to do with it
Somewhere to go
Get fluent in the new thing instead of bracing against it. Uranus rewards the early, curious experimenter and strands the person clinging to how information used to work — so learn the new tool, question the old certainty, and stay light enough to change your mind fast.
Common questions
Questions, answered
Is Uranus in Gemini affecting me yet?
Yes — it's fully in now. Uranus made a first pass through Gemini from July 7 to November 7, 2025, then returned for the duration on April 25–26, 2026, and has been fully in since. You'll feel it most where early Gemini falls in your chart, especially with planets or angles in the first degrees of Gemini, or of the other mutable signs — Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces.
When does Uranus enter Gemini, and how long does it stay?
Uranus first entered Gemini on July 7, 2025, retrograded back into Taurus on November 7, 2025, and re-enters Gemini for good on April 25–26, 2026. It stays until 2032–2033 — about a seven-year chapter.
What does Uranus in Gemini mean?
Where Uranus in Taurus (2018–2025) upended money and the physical economy, Uranus in Gemini upends information itself — how we communicate, learn, travel, and decide what's true. The last time it was here (1941–1949) brought radar, the first computers, and the seeds of the information age. Expect the breakthroughs in sudden bursts, not a steady ramp.
