The mechanics
What's happening
Neptune conjunct your Venus
Neptune dissolves whatever it touches: it softens, blurs, idealizes and lets go. It brings imagination, compassion and longing, and the fog in which it is hard to see what is real. Your Venus is how you love and what you value: relationships, pleasure, money as worth, and taste.
A conjunction puts the transiting planet on the same degree as your natal point: the two merge, and the planet's drive becomes the point's drive for the duration. It is the most direct and total contact. Here the transiting Neptune makes a conjunction to your natal Venus, so Neptune's drive meets your Venus at that angle. Neptune runs a 165-year cycle, so each angle to this point happens once, if at all.

How long it lasts
Brace, or build?
Neptune takes about fourteen years per sign, so a transit to one point lasts about two years across up to five passes. It is felt as a slow season rather than an event: a year of fog, a year of clearing.
The move
What to do with it
Somewhere to go
Love the person after you have listed their flaws. Let someone practical watch the money. Neptune on Venus makes genuine art and genuine love once it tolerates reality.
