Neptune trine your Ascendant.

Neptune dissolves whatever it touches: it softens, blurs, idealizes and lets go. It brings imagination, compassion and longing, and the fog in which it is hard to see what is real. Your Ascendant is your rising sign: how you meet the world, your body and appearance, and in Whole Sign astrology the doorway to your first house and every house after it.

A trine puts the transiting planet 120 degrees from your natal point: the two drives flow together, and the planet's gifts arrive without a fight. Trines are easy to miss because nothing breaks; the opportunity has to be used on purpose. Here the transiting Neptune makes a trine to your natal Ascendant, so Neptune's drive meets how you meet the world at that angle. Neptune runs a 165-year cycle, so each angle to this point happens once, if at all.

Neptune takes about fourteen years per sign, so a transit to one point lasts about two years across up to five passes. It is felt as a slow season rather than an event: a year of fog, a year of clearing.

Make the art, teach, help, heal. The trine makes compassion visible; use it in work that needs it.
