From September 15, when Uranus turns retrograde, to October 17, when Pluto turns direct, all four slow planets are retrograde at once — and Mercury joins them October 7–28 — so it's a stretch built for review and refinement, not launching. There are no eclipses (the last fell in August, the next comes January 2028), Jupiter rewards craft and follow-through from Virgo, and the clean forward push waits for winter, when Neptune and Saturn turn direct in December.

Winter 2027

Winter 2027 is the turn from review to forward. The slow planets that spent the fall retrograde finish facing forward — Neptune on December 15 and Saturn on December 23, both in Aries, then Uranus on February 12, 2028, the last holdout — so by mid-February all four are direct together for the first time since spring 2027. But it's a staged start, not a starting gun: eclipse season returns in January (the first eclipses since August — a partial lunar eclipse at about 21° Cancer on January 12 and an annular solar eclipse at about 6° Aquarius on January 26), Jupiter turns retrograde in Virgo on January 12, and Mercury is retrograde January 24 to February 14. So the season rewards rebuilding momentum and finishing over the clean fast launch, which keeps until the sky settles toward spring.

Spring 2028

Spring 2028 is the season the long Aries reset hands off to Taurus. Saturn finishes its two-year transit of Aries and enters Taurus on April 13 — the discipline that spent two years rebuilding the self now turns to building something durable and material — after the season opens with a clean fresh-start window: the spring equinox and Mars entering Aries, both on March 19. The back third stacks up stations — Pluto retrograde May 8, Venus retrograde in Gemini May 10, Jupiter direct in Virgo May 13, and Mercury retrograde in Gemini May 21 — so the late-spring favor goes to revising and finishing over the clean launch, with the season's last weeks running two retrogrades at once in Gemini. Summer 2028 opens with the air clearing: Mercury turns direct June 14 and Venus on June 22, ending the double Gemini retrograde that closed spring, so by late June the green light returns for launches, plans, and relationship and money moves — right as the solstice turns the Sun into Cancer on June 20. Then July brings the loud center: an eclipse pair on the Cancer–Capricorn axis — a partial lunar eclipse at about 15° Capricorn on July 6 and a total solar eclipse at about 29° Cancer on July 22, a major one whose path crosses Australia. The slow planets begin turning inward (Neptune retrograde July 11, Saturn retrograde in Taurus August 22), and the season closes with Jupiter leaving Virgo for Libra on August 24, shifting the year's growth toward balance and relationship.
