Exact to the minute of arc. Planetary positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris, which is derived from NASA JPL's planetary ephemerides, with the tropical zodiac and Whole Sign houses. The methodology page publishes a chart you can check against any ephemeris. See the methodology.

Astrology isn't a science, and Danu doesn't claim it predicts events. Two things are worth separating: the calculation, which is exact, and the interpretation, which is a reading of a symbolic tradition offered for reflection. Danu names the placements and transits behind a reading, so you can judge whether it fits.

The preview on the homepage computes your chart without saving it on our servers; your browser keeps what you typed for up to a week so you don't have to retype it at sign-up. If you make an account, your chart is saved to your account so Danu can keep reading it — and you can delete it anytime.
