The mechanics
What's happening
Neptune trine your Venus
Neptune dissolves whatever it touches: it softens, blurs, idealizes and lets go. It brings imagination, compassion and longing, and the fog in which it is hard to see what is real. Your Venus is how you love and what you value: relationships, pleasure, money as worth, and taste.
A trine puts the transiting planet 120 degrees from your natal point: the two drives flow together, and the planet's gifts arrive without a fight. Trines are easy to miss because nothing breaks; the opportunity has to be used on purpose. Here the transiting Neptune makes a trine to your natal Venus, so Neptune's drive meets your Venus at that angle. Neptune runs a 165-year cycle, so each angle to this point happens once, if at all.

How long it lasts
Brace, or build?
Neptune takes about fourteen years per sign, so a transit to one point lasts about two years across up to five passes. It is felt as a slow season rather than an event: a year of fog, a year of clearing.

What to do with it
Somewhere to go
Make something beautiful, and love someone generously. The trine makes romance safe; it is the window for the gesture you have been saving.
