Pluto conjunct your Sun.

Pluto transforms whatever it touches: it strips, exposes, empowers and rebuilds from the foundation. It brings depth, power and permanent change, and the loss that comes first. Your Sun is your identity and vitality: who you are becoming and the center the rest of the chart organizes around.

A conjunction puts the transiting planet on the same degree as your natal point: the two merge, and the planet's drive becomes the point's drive for the duration. It is the most direct and total contact. Here the transiting Pluto makes a conjunction to your natal Sun, so Pluto's drive meets your Sun at that angle. Pluto runs a 248-year cycle, so each angle to this point happens once in a life.

Pluto takes between twelve and thirty years per sign, so a transit to one point lasts two to three years across up to five passes. It is the longest and most permanent transit there is: what changes under it does not change back.

Let go of what is being taken and keep what is yours. Face the power struggle with integrity. Pluto on the Sun makes a person who cannot be broken, out of one who was.
