Transit
Jupiter conjunct your Sun.
Jupiter conjunct your Sun: a year when doors open and you are more confident than usual, which is the gift, and more certain than you should be, which is the catch.

The mechanics
What's happening
Jupiter conjunct your Sun
Jupiter expands whatever it touches: it enlarges, opens, over-promises and pays out. It brings opportunity, confidence and growth, and the risk of too much. Your Sun is your identity and vitality: who you are becoming and the center the rest of the chart organizes around.
A conjunction puts the transiting planet on the same degree as your natal point: the two merge, and the planet's drive becomes the point's drive for the duration. It is the most direct and total contact. Here the transiting Jupiter makes a conjunction to your natal Sun, so Jupiter's drive meets your Sun at that angle. Jupiter runs a twelve-year cycle, so this contact repeats every twelve years at the same angle.
The tell
What it feels like
- Opportunities arrive without being chased, and people say yes to you.
- You feel larger: more generous, more optimistic, more visible.
- You over-commit, overspend, or over-promise and only notice later.

How long it lasts
Brace, or build?
Jupiter takes about a year per sign, so a transit to one point lasts a few weeks on a single pass, or up to nine months when the retrograde loop brings three passes. The felt window is roughly a month either side of each exact pass.
The move
What to do with it
Somewhere to go
Say yes to the one opportunity that could change your year and no to the five that only flatter it. Jupiter pays out to the person who used the door, not the one who admired it.
