What it is
Pluto, placed in the 9th house
The Pluto: power
Pluto is the deep remake — power, obsession, and the slow tearing-down and rebuilding that changes you for good.
Pluto rules power and transformation: the buried, the intense, the things that end so something truer can begin. It's the slowest outer planet, working on generations — but where it sits in your chart is where you're periodically demolished and rebuilt, and where you wrestle with control.
The 9th house: meaning
The 9th house is the far and the big-picture — travel, belief, higher learning, and the search for what it all means.
The ninth house rules the expansion of your world: long-distance travel, higher education, philosophy, religion, publishing, and the beliefs you build a life on. If the third house is the near, the ninth is the far.
Put together: the Pluto’s drive acts in the 9thhouse’s area of life. Read on for what that produces.
