What Pluto in Capricorn actually means
Pluto moves slowly, so its sign is shared by everyone born across a span of years rather than a personal trait: Pluto was in Capricorn from about 2008 to 2024. Pluto is power, death, and transformation; its sign says what each generation is forced to destroy and rebuild. In one chart, the house it sits in and the aspects it makes are where the generational theme becomes personal.
Gen Z and the first of Gen Alpha were born into the financial crisis, the pandemic, and the fall of trust in every institution, and will spend their lives replacing what failed.
