How do I create my birth chart?

When you sign up, Danu will ask for your birth date, time, and location. Enter these as accurately as possible, and she'll calculate your complete natal chart. If you need to update this later, go to Settings > Birth Data.

Is my birth time really necessary?

Your birth time allows us to calculate your Ascendant (Rising sign) and house placements, which are essential for accurate insights. If you don't know your exact time, you can still use Danu—we'll note which features have reduced accuracy.

Where can I find my birth time?

Check your birth certificate (long form often has time), hospital records, or ask family members who were present. Some countries record birth time officially, others don't. If you can't find it, Danu can still help with date-based insights.

What can I ask Danu about?

Anything related to your chart and life! Ask about your personality, relationships, career, current transits, or just share what's on your mind. Danu knows your chart by heart and can relate astrological insights to your real life.

How many messages can I send?

Free users get 3 messages per day. Premium users have unlimited conversations. Your message count resets at midnight in your local timezone.

What house system does Danu use?

Danu uses Whole Sign Houses exclusively. We believe it's the most elegant and historically grounded system. This is intentional—Whole Sign provides clear, unambiguous house placements.

What is Circle?

Circle is where you save the important people in your life. Add their birth data, and Danu can analyze your synastry (relationship compatibility) and help you understand your dynamics together.

How many people can I add to my Circle?

Free users can add 1 person. Premium users have unlimited Circle members. You can add partners, family, friends, coworkers—anyone whose chart you want to explore.

What if I don't know someone's birth time?

You can still add them with just their birth date. Danu will analyze planetary aspects between your charts, but house-based insights will be limited. Even sun sign compatibility can be insightful!

What does Premium include?

Premium gives you unlimited conversations with Danu, unlimited Circle members, full synastry analysis, transit forecasts (weekly, monthly, yearly), and solar/lunar returns. $9.99/month or $79/year.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, absolutely. Cancel whenever you want, and you'll keep access until the end of your billing period. No questions asked, no hard feelings.

Do you offer refunds?

If you're unsatisfied within the first 14 days, we'll refund your subscription. Just email support@danuastrology.com with your request.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your chart data stays in your account even if you downgrade to Free. You won't lose your insights or circle members—you'll just have limited access to premium features.

How do I manage my subscription?

Go to Settings > Subscription. From there you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. If you subscribed via the iOS app, manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

How do I change my email address?

Go to Settings > Account. You can update your email address there. You may need to verify the new email before the change takes effect.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently delete all your data including your chart, Circle members, conversation history, and saved readings. This cannot be undone.

Is my birth data secure?

Can I export my data?

Yes. Go to Settings > Account > Export Data. We'll email you a file containing all your personal data, chart information, and conversation history.

My chart doesn't look right. What should I do?

Double-check your birth data in Settings > Birth Data. Even a few minutes difference in birth time can shift your Ascendant. Also verify your birth location is correct—timezone matters!

Danu isn't responding. What's wrong?

The app is running slowly.
