What Neptune in Aquarius actually means
Neptune moves slowly, so its sign is shared by everyone born across a span of years rather than a personal trait: Neptune was in Aquarius from about 1998 to 2012. Neptune is dissolution, imagination, and longing; its sign says what each generation idealizes, escapes into, and is disillusioned by. In one chart, the house it sits in and the aspects it makes are where the generational theme becomes personal.
The younger millennials and older Gen Z dreamed in the first social networks and are learning what the collective dream costs.
