What the sky is doing for Scorpio
Read against the real sky for October 12, 2026. A Sun-sign read counts the houses from your Sun, so it never needs your birth time — and never invents a rising sign it can't know.
The Sun is in your 12th house this month
The month's throughline for you runs through rest, endings, and what happens out of sight. That's where where your focus and vitality go until the Sun moves on.
The Moon is in your 1st house today
Your mood and what you need land in you — your body, your start, how you show up. This is the fastest weather in the chart — it moves on in a day or two, so read it as a nudge, not a verdict.
Mercury is in your 1st house
Your mind, your plans, and your conversations is currently pointed at you — your body, your start, how you show up.
Venus is in your 1st house
Love, money, and what you enjoy is currently pointed at you — your body, your start, how you show up.
Mars is in your 10th house
Your drive and where the friction is is currently pointed at career, reputation, and your public role.
Retrograde right now: Venus in your 1st house. That area is asking for a second pass — revisit and refine rather than launch something brand new.

The temperament
What Scorpio is like
Scorpio, in plain terms
Scorpio is fixed water: intense, private, and all-in. You feel in depths and you'd rather know the true, hard thing than the comfortable, false one. Loyalty and suspicion are two ends of the same instrument.
Ruled by Pluto, you're built for transformation — you can sit in the underworld of a situation without flinching. The work is letting the light back in once you've seen the bottom.
The hard part
Named, not flattered
What Scorpio has to watch
Control masquerades as safety. You'll test people rather than trust them, and hold a grudge as if it were protecting you when it's mostly just keeping the wound warm.
