What the sky is doing for Leo
Read against the real sky for October 12, 2026. A Sun-sign read counts the houses from your Sun, so it never needs your birth time — and never invents a rising sign it can't know.
The Sun is in your 3rd house this month
The month's throughline for you runs through talking, learning, the day-to-day and the people close by. That's where where your focus and vitality go until the Sun moves on.
The Moon is in your 4th house today
Your mood and what you need land in home, family, and your private ground. This is the fastest weather in the chart — it moves on in a day or two, so read it as a nudge, not a verdict.
Mercury is in your 4th house
Your mind, your plans, and your conversations is currently pointed at home, family, and your private ground.
Venus is in your 4th house
Love, money, and what you enjoy is currently pointed at home, family, and your private ground.
Mars is in your 1st house
Your drive and where the friction is is currently pointed at you — your body, your start, how you show up.
Retrograde right now: Venus in your 4th house. That area is asking for a second pass — revisit and refine rather than launch something brand new.

The temperament
What Leo is like
Leo, in plain terms
Leo is fixed fire: steady, warm, and loyal to what it's decided to love. You lead by being fully yourself and you want your effort to be seen, which is not vanity — it's how you know it counted.
Ruled by the Sun, you're at your best when you're generous with your light. The work is letting other people's suns shine without reading it as your dimming.
The hard part
Named, not flattered
What Leo has to watch
Pride can make a small slight feel like a betrayal, and you'll hold a grand posture long after a plain conversation would have fixed it. The dignity you defend is rarely the one at risk.
