What it is
A total solar eclipse
A new Moon with a shadow
A solar eclipse is a new Moon with the Moon's shadow on the Earth: a beginning with more force than usual, and a door that opens where the eclipse falls in your chart. What starts under a solar eclipse tends to run for months, not weeks.
Total: the whole disc is covered. The strongest kind, and the one most visibly felt in the charts it touches directly.

What this eclipse in Leo asks
A new Moon in Leo asks what you want to make and be seen making.
Leo begins with expression. This new Moon favors creative work, romance, and anything you would be proud to put your name on: the project, the performance, the declaration.
Under an eclipse, the same question arrives with more force and a longer window: about six months, until the next eclipse season on the same axis.

What to do
Somewhere to go
Make one thing in the next two weeks and show it to someone. Leo begins by risking being seen.
Eclipse-specific: do not force a decision on the day itself; the picture is clearest two weeks after. Watch what arrives or leaves on its own, and respond to that.
